Congenital Abnormalities and Birth Defects after Camp Lejeune Toxic Water Exposure

A CDC study surveyed parents of 12,598 children exposed to the contaminated water at Camp Lejeune.  Though the contamination at Camp Lejeune is known to have occurred between the years 1953 and 1987, the study sampled a smaller size, focusing on children born at Camp Lejeune military base between 1968 and 1985.
